ADEGA’s polymerized inorganic coagulants offer high concentration solutions of Poly Aluminum Chloride (PAC) in a range of basicity including our unique polymerized PAC (50 % active chemical and a basicity of 83 %) which requires minimal alkalinity to precipitate floc, using higher relative charge neutralization as a primary reactive mechanism. This high basicity coagulant enables the treatment process operator to reduce the amount of other chemicals (e.g., sodium hydroxide) which are often used to raise the pH of the process water to aid precipitation.

ADEGA dry polymers are highly concentrated and exhibit significantly greater chemical efficacy when compared to liquid polymers. ADEGA dry polymers can be easily mixed with water on site to form feed solutions into treatment process vessels. Dry polymer is also more conveniently and easily handled on site; virtually eliminating the requirement for a fork lift or other lifting device that would be typically required to handle 55-gallon drums, or totes of product. ADEGA’s dry polymer products also feature a long-lasting shelf life as compared to their liquid counterpart, and are able to withstand a much greater range of temperature during storage without effectiveness breakdown.
